    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

Just so you know, the Current battery can be a Class 1 or a Class 3 bike. No need to "hack" it, simply program your choice in the controller. I wish Bosch, Brose and Yamaha would make this possible.

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

My guess is that Enviolo either couldn't supply them or they couldn't get the price down where they needed to with the Enviolo. FWIW, I've have tried the Enviolo Current and the Enviolo had almost too much range for me. I wish they would have gone "upmarket" and put the Enviolo Automatiq on...

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

I would agree that the 5 speed does seem limited. The Haibike you suggest as an alternative looks good except for the class 1 problem. If only they had made it a class 3 bike.

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

No, it doesn't have the automatic shifting option. That would help, IMHO.

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

Did you actually ride the Current with the Shimano?

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

You missed it. It does. You don't need an LCD screen to put the motor in "auto", it is simply one of the levels of assist.

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

In my experience, gear range on an ebike is probably the least of my worries. I do try to find the best gear/pedal assist ratio for the speed I'm maintaining and the elevation I'm on, but I have no proof that I'm "doing it well/right". That's where the auto mode on the Yamaha/Giant/Momentum...

Priority Bicycles just launched the most affordable Gates belt mid-drive e-bike

I agree. I have to use PAS level 4-5 more than I want to, and the battery pays the price. A 600wh battery would solve the issue.

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

The enviolo has almost too much range and I can’t spin my legs fast enough to take advantage of it. I can’t feel the assist at higher cadences. At 5’4 and a 29 inch inseam, I’d go with the medium. I’m exactly that and I like the fit. I think the Shimano with the reduced range will match the...

VADO 3.0 confusion between year old bike and new bike

I need help identifying the motor on a bike. It is a Vado 3.0, in the light grey color (almost white). It has the Deore rear derailleur. I haven't been able to check the battery, but I'm going to assume it has the 460WH. The person who has it says it is a 2020 model, but I highly doubt it...

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

I contacted them about the Shimano. Turns out that some of the concerns I have with the bike might be resolved with the Shimano hub. I'd give it a try. I do like the belt drive.

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

My partner has a 2018 Vado 3.0, which is more like a current Vado 4.0. Has deore, the 1.2 motor and a 460 wh battery. The 2020 Vado 3.0 has a 1.2 “e” motor. I actually like the Brose motor better than the priority current motor. It gives more assist at low cadences and I believe climbs...

Priority Bicycles just launched the most affordable Gates belt mid-drive e-bike

Those were not my results! I think I will average in the 40 miles range +\- a few. I probably average a PAS level of 2.5. 4 on the hills, 0 on the downs, 1-2 on the flats.

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

Specialized Vado 5 has a 600wh battery but that bike sells for $4350. Gazelle doesn't even offer a battery larger than 500wh at any price. Giant is just this year (20/21)moving to 500wh batteries. Bulls has more than a few bikes with >600 wh batteries, but those bikes cost between $4 and...

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

The only obsolete battery in 2020 is the 400wh battery. 500 still seems to be the standard. Maybe you will find one on a hub drive bike, but rarely under 3700 with a mid drive motor. I actually took the seat off assuming I would favor my old Kalkhoff seat but I’m about to put it back on. The...

Took a ride and tried this...I think you are on to something about the point on the shifter where is becomes hard to shift back. I also agree about PA5. I rode 15 miles with 1700 ft. of elevation. 6/10 bars remaining.
