Como - wanting to raise the bars a bit

Yo might ask Brendon about needs for replacing the flo-stem with this.

Anyone add a suspension fork on Como?

https://www.srsuntour.com/products/fork/MOBIE-A32-6280.html from one of two North American SR Suntour dealers. The point is; if one wants a suspension fork on a Como, a bit of critical/creative thinking will solve the problem. I'm not going to post a link to every shock that would work on a...

Reason(s) for the harsh Vado ride

Blush...my bad. I was going by the area swept clean on the fork leg. After the Wow ( :) ), I went to the garage and measured, there is two inches of fork leg exposed and the area that is clean from the travel measures an inch and a quarter. Big difference from the eye ball estimate of 2 inches...

Reason(s) for the harsh Vado ride

I know this is an old thread, but just getting a new Vado a two weeks ago today and having ridden 300 miles giving a lot of thought to dialing in "the bike," I'm amazed at the ride, particularly at speed. The rebound setting was key to what I was looking for in terms of adjustment and my fork...

Anyone add a suspension fork on Como?

After riding a Como for 3K miles and contending with the stiffest frame I've ever ridden, then getting the front shock of the new Vado dialed in, my vote is for the Vado ride.

    Got the Vado...

Thanks... Yes, I'm really liking the bike. Rode a bit this am after a few adjustments to the height and fore/aft of the saddle and a slight twist to reposition the bars; all is good. I'm liking the firmness of the saddle, it's proving to be comfortable. I have a collection of saddles, so a...

    Got the Vado...

Yes, Vado 5.0. My wife is riding the Thudbuster and likes it a lot. I'm going to ride with the seat and post now on the bike to see if I can manage. I do have a pair of magnesium pedals I may install, they're pretty aggressive mtb pedals. I had these on the Como for a while but changed back to...

    Got the Vado...

About 75 miles since Sat. am. Very pleased. A bit of a learning curve compared to the Como. Because of the differences in riding position, I find a need to do some tweaking. I'm trying to not turn the Vado into a Como concerning the upright cruiser position, but make adjustments to saddle and...

Squeaking Front Brake on Como 3.0

The brakes on my wife's Como 2.0 are sometimes noisy, loading her bike on the bike rack I noticed a wheel wasn't rotating freely; brake pad rubing the rotor. Since, I've made sure pad clearance is adjusted; this seems to help. Easy to adjust...loosen the brake, squeeze the brake lever, tighten...

Como 3.0 not giving enough push...compared to others

Is he taking advantage of the Turbo mode? Using Turbo (rather than eco or sport mode) on the occasions where extremely strong headwinds or steep hills are concerned definitely levels the playing field.

Have avoided riding in the rain, so no problem there. The cavity with the battery removed would be a potential reservoir, seems the battery cover would offer more protection. There's a thread that discusses bike covers for transporting bikes in the rain. I'm seriously looking for a viable...

I'm thinking/hoping the clamps will work with the bridge on the fork. My LBS owner tells me I'm okay. Will wait and see.

Raising the handlebar on a '19 Vado 3.0

Stefan, using the A-HEAD riser on a Vado with the Flowset stem...would or would not require swapping the Flowset stem for a standard stem? I'm asking for the wife ;)

We never remove batteries for trips from home to trail head. Not familiar with the pros and cons of removing battery to transport.
