Finally, over the air update for Turbos (including CREO), but with a caveat

omg. You are right.. I was sooo hopeful that this worked for Gen1 :( I go out to try this on my wife's Turbo CREO and nope, tells me to bring it in. So, f'ing irritating.

Finally, over the air update for Turbos (including CREO), but with a caveat

Seems Specialized has finally allowed over the air updates for the Turbo (including the CREO): Watch the tutorial video However, updates to the battery firmware still requires you to take it into the shop 🤨 oh well, 2 out of 3 firmware over the air updates is better than nothing.

Turbo CREO Comp SL - XS (Updated pics)

sorry, for late response... wife gets around 3/4+ inch of additional height. My wife, inseam is 27.5, doesn't include the height of bike shoes. This is with 650b 38mm tires. One thing to note, for some folks (like me and the wife) when unclipping (at stop light for example) we tend to angle...

Two E-Creo issues: Range Extender depletion/Firmware Update

It’s disappointing that users can’t do firmware upgrade. Seems almost every device (including electric cars) allow for user downloadable firmware upgrades. Yet, specialized feels they are ”special” to not allow it on the CREO. I’ve seen the shop perform the firmware upgrades....it’s not rocket...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

its easier to make a smaller size bike bigger to accommodate comfort vs the other way around. The LBS should have put you on an L to accomodate your 30 inch inseam and the cockpit can then be made longer to accommodate your longer torso by installing a longer stem. But seems the LBS is...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

There is a lock ring that holds the spider arm in place. If it’s not seated properly there will be lateral movement. Took me awhile to figure that out. I took it to LBS and all they did was slapped a bunch of grease to remove the noisebut there was still lateral movement. Remove the lock...

    Misalignment of chain with chainring

The Creo (at least the one that came with my CREO and the author of this original thread posted about i.e Matt-h has in his video) is the Praxis Wave chain ring.... and therefore my specific response to his posting is of the pic of the Wave chain ring .... not a narrow wide. The pic by the way...

    Misalignment of chain with chainring

You have to align outer chain link with the inner tooth. In your video, the outer chain link is on the outer tooth.

Expiring Battery, or Expiring Controller, or Expiring Rider??

This? What was the assist level before vs now? if the assist level decreased then that may explain your harder effort?

e-tube cable has 2 wires only. Somewhere between the top hood button and the e-tube junction connector, it went from 3 wires to 2 wires.

I tried that first and it didn’t work for me — I wish it was that easy. But, you should give it a shot, because I may have missed something. 👍

The Di2 shifter does not need to be connected to the Di2 battery/system -- in other words, it can be completely separated/isolated from Di2 system. However, to reiterate: By cutting the cable between the Di2 top/hood button and Di2 shift lever buttons (i.e. located behind the shift lever)...

    Creo Remote Control DIY

I highly doubt they will because 1. they're "specialized" and 2. it requires modification to Di2 shifter. But, my feedback to Specialized (I doubt they care): When I saw the 2021 CREO Remote, it looked pathetically bulky and way to many wires and an item that was designed in 1970. If you look...

That's the cable the needs to be cut (it originally connected the Di2 lever shifter button unit to the top shifter button). You then take that cable enclosure of the lever button unit and connect it to the LEVO FSR wires (which is the arrow pointing on the left).

A sharp exacto knife would do... but you need to be careful not to apply to much pressure because you'll end up cutting all with wires.... good luck.

Here are the two torx screws holding the shifter buttons behind the lever Here are the two torx screws holding the top shifter button Once you lift up the top shifter button enclosure, it will expose two cables. Cut/splice the one that leads to the lever shifter button unit. Think twice...

    Creo Remote Control DIY

I decided to take a shot modifying Di2 left shifter buttons (since the left Di2 shifter is not used in 1x drivetrain), splice the wire and connect it to the LEVO FSR cable, which then connects to the CREO TCU to remotely control the CREO power assist levels. I can report that it does work...

Dazmanturbo - curious if you've taken a stab at this modification and if so, can you provide a more simplified diagram of wiring? Thanks.
