Not a weld. My frame cracked on 2018 Como 2.0 where the motor is mounted. Specialized replaced the bike.

Hey, does anyone know how long a LaFree sits unused with the power on before it shuts off automatically? There's nothing in the manual about that.

I do keep mine in Eco, most of the time, using Sport only occasionally on steeper hills. And I live in Chicago western suburbs, which is prairie and quite flat.

Which Como do you have? I know on my original 2.0, it was easier to ride with no assist. With my 3.0 riding without assist is a real drag - or feels like one.

That would be the way I'd have to go. With a dramatic riser and bars. And the geometry's a little tighter, so that would take some getting used to, coming from my Como 3.0. But I think it's the only way forward. It'd be great if Vado did an internal hub/carbon belt option.

The original Como all have the up/down power buttons, which work great. I couldn't believe they left that off the new Como, which works exactly as you describe - one way cycling through. Pretty cumbersome. I'll bet your happy with the up/down buttons now on your Creo.
