To officially answer this, you should be absolutely fine. If it is a known-working official Bosch charger, there should be zero issues. Our chargers get put to the test in a normal year at industry events that include demos...!

Just to officially answer this, you will not have the benefits of eMTB mode if you elect for Custom Riding Modes to be turned on. Custom Mode 3 will not work in unison with eMTB.

The Nyon does not have any support for third-party music controlling, like the Smartphone Hub does. The Cobi.Bike app (Smartphone Hub) is a different software avenue and these two will be kept separate. They Nyon and Kiox sync up to our Bosch eBike Connect app and the SPH to our Cobi.Bike

If it is a NA unit, a SW update will not install a horn. You would need to switch to the Cobi head unit that is offered in Europe

@BoHappy ---the Nyon has been released. It is appearing on some OEM models coming into shops at this time. We are awaiting retrofit kits to be available through our US service partner. That should occur around October. @fooferdoggie -The Nyon does indeed sync to the eBike Connect app...

I intended to disseminate the info that the app needs to be up and running---in my experience, even in the background of the phone it will capture GPS tracking. When riders have not launched the app at all, it will not track GPS when you open it up and sync your last ride.

The Cobi.Bike app does need to open and used for it to sync with Strava.

Currently, the Bosch eBike Connect app will not display climb/ascent when used with a Kiox. The eBike Connect app is the same platform used with our Nyon head unit as well. Current work is being done on this topic.
