Just purchased and while having the walk mode activated the Trek dealer told me he updated the software which led me to believe to the 85nm but have read online that is only for generation 4. My version is 1.8.6.0 which doesn't match the update 85nm version number I saw in the stutter thread. Maybe the shop and I were talking about two different updates??!! Can the gen 2 software be updated to 85nm?

Hi, regarding our Gen2 DU, pictured on the right in the attached photo----it is not eligible for the 85NM torque update.

Thanks.. Could have done without the side by side pic though dang that's small. I'll just imagine mine being larger will be more durable.. =)

@Stephan - on a 2020 or 2021 Bulls Cross Cross Lite EVO, do you happen to know what version of the Performance CX it is? I am finding it very difficult to determine which generation.

I cannot determine just on that---I am not super versed in their product portfolio. Do you have a picture? Easiest determination in generations of Performance Line CX is the size of the chainring. A smaller chainring, i.e. 18 to 20 teeth denotes our Gen2. A more standard-sized ring, 32-36 teeth will be a Gen4.

If you have the purion. Display you can press and hold the minus and plus button at the same time then hit the power button and it will come on and tell you the version

You talking the version of the motor or the software? If the motor, I think you should be able to find a sticker on the motor that tells you.
