My orders always just turn up out of the blue with GBK no dispatch or confirmation or tracking.. Your always in the dark with GBK but your order WILL turn up. Eventually. Just try to forget about it

Lost my whole lefthand crank arm and peddle today. Thankfully it was at low speed but the crank arm bolt (California ebike part number REP-011-004) is totally lost! Looked around for ages couldn't find it (dirt trail). Does anyone have any options to replace?. Are they standard Isis crank...

Thanks that was a good watch, I'm sceptical Bafang will do anything in the future towards programming. My lead came today, can I just plug it in and run it? Do I need the magnet speed sensor plugged in to, I forgot to order one 😭

Thanks guys 👍. Very good point there's good evidence it is brand new never fitted but you never know. While my original motor is running so good I'm reluctant to remove it to test? I bought it cheap (ISH) so I think it's got my worth of spares if it is faulty either way. The dent maybe the light??

How far in the conversation did you go into reprogramming? On some displays you can "program" set voltages, wheel sizes etc on the display I spose this could be construed as programming 😜 wink wink

Have you tried going back to stock program. Worth a try if you saved an .el file. Never rely on gauges as they are just a gauge. Hence why we never go near lvc, you never really know what's going on at cell level gets very volatile so stay away from low voltages.

Btw, quality cells and BMS's can handle lvc, but poor quality cells drop like a stone and never recover (hold charge) once they get anywhere near low voltage they fall of a cliff.

Yes I'd never hit lvc especially at full gunning it towards the end of low voltage. I'm afraid you've cooked your battery dude you'll need to find out what string is dead but in all honesty BMS or cells hard to tell. I'd do some multi meter testing on the battery see what voltage you've got...

Sounds like a bad BMS in the battery?.. I'd suggest taking the battery to someone who can read the BMS's string voltages with a meter. 73miles is a big ask on any battery (not that I know what ah or motor you have?) But sag on lvc would of been v close. Batteries don't like 100% 0% I tend to...
