I have a large frame. When I tried to raise the bars, I couldn't get the wires to extend at all. There seemed to be some bunches up cable inside the frame of the bike. Yamaha didn't have the fenders in stock, bought from an online bike shop for the same price Yamaha sells them for. I believe $70...

You are probably right about the frame size, I have the large frame and there is no way I could lift my handlebars even half that amount. They left no slack at all on my display panel cable..

Did you have any problems raising the handlebars. When I tried to raise mine, the electronic cable had no slack and I wasn't able to raise the handlebars at all. I would need another couple inches on the cable to be able to raise the handlebars..

Spoke to the dealer I bought the bike from. He called Yamaha and they have no extension to use for the cable. . Thinking about switching to riser handlebars instead of doing anything that might void the warranty. Any suggestions on riser bars that would work best with the CrossCore?

Have you tried GreenPath in Brooklyn? I picked up my Cross Core there a few months ago. It only took them about a week to get me the bike and they were good to deal with. I am sorry I didn't go with the Civante instead, but I will keep this bike about a year and then upgrade..

I have the Cross Core and tried to raise the handlebars using an extender. There was not enough length of the electrical cable to be able to do it. I was really disappointed that I couldn't raise them..

I also bought my bike from Greenpath. Did he charge you for the first tune-up or did he do that complimentary? I might just bring it into my local bike shop for the brake pads and initial tune-up.. Overall, a nice bike..

I also have the Cross core, and even though I only have about 250 miles on it, I have noticed the brakes don't really seem adequate. I was hoping that by buying a brand name bike, not to have to deal with such issues. My next project on the bike is to add an extender to raise the handlebars...

After riding on the wet slushy roads yesterday, decided I should get some fenders for the bike. Any suggestions on some after market fenders that would be easy to install and take off..

Friend of mine took a good spill on his bike a few miles from home. Busted up his leg pretty good. Only way he was able to make it home on his bike was using throttle. I don't have a throttle on my bike, and sometimes I wish I did .
