    Phone Mount Suggetions?

I keep it really simple. I carry mine in a t shirt with a front pocket. Most of the high visibility t shirts can be had with pockets. No more handlebar clutter.

Do you regret buying (or not buying) Step-thru vs. Step-over frame?

As far as the high bar bikes, a lot of times I will just lean mine over to the side when getting on it. Much lower doing so.

Do you regret buying (or not buying) Step-thru vs. Step-over frame?

Just to the dumpster. We bought a Green Mountain Smoker. I just had to hide the evidence!!

Do you regret buying (or not buying) Step-thru vs. Step-over frame?

We have one of each. I prefer the high bar for myself but enjoy the ease of the step through. We are full time RV and I usually use her step through to have a basket attached so I use hers to take our trash to the dumpster, or to give the puppies a ride. On the high bar model (mine) I am not...

Abandoned PA Turnpike Tunnel Ride Planning Thread

I am not too far from there and would be interested. I probably won’t be back in that area again until July though. I am going to RV training academy to become a certified RV service technician in the spring in Texas and won’t be back until then.

    Update on my mis-aventure.

Looks good and I really love the classic look with the wide whites. As an observation on the fourth photo, it appears as if your front tire is mounted backwards, is this intentional? I know back in the day we would do that with universal motorcycle tires.

Startling pedestrians can be so much fun.

I will ring my bell and announce “on your left”, and then slow down until I am safely past the pedestrian. I fully “expect” the pedestrian to walk in front of me. When they don’t, it’s a pleasant surprise. I try to be a good steward for bicyclists as seen by the public. I even carry spare...

    Lake Superior North Shore

We went to the Great Lakes Shipwreck museum in Whitefish Point Michigan. Very interesting place with a lot of artifacts from the wreckage. On display was a wax figure of a sea hand or captain that was so realistic it was eerie.

    I hit a horse

Sorry to hear Jedidiah!! Sorry you had to go through that and the one had to be put down, not to mention the status with the loss of your vehicle too. I hope you are able to get another vehicle to get you back in business. You’re in our prayers for sure.

Yum, got me craving walleye now! Our last trip there was around Lutsen, Ely, Grand Marais, and the Cooke County area. Gotta Love Lake Superior!

Enola Low Grade Trail Full Moon Ride

Too bad I didn’t know about this earlier. We just picked up 2 puppies from Honey Brook, and I would have loved to ride it. I guess we will do that our next time to that area.

Enola Low Grade Trail Full Moon Ride

Wow! As a Pennsylvania Railroad buff, I foresee doing this in the future when we are in the area again. I love the old steel supports still above the bridge patiently awaiting insulators, catenary wire, and 11,000 volts. Thanks for the article Jeddidiah!

NCM - Charged Battery but showing 0 bars on display

I would agree with you that one of your pins is not making contact properly. It looks as if one of the pins has been pushed back in to the connector, which can easily cause your issue. I would see if I could take the connector apart and locate the missing pin back in its proper location. I then...

Has anyone gone from an e-bike with throttle to one without?

As far as a tip on starting on a hill; Stop with the bike going sideways or downhill slightly first. It will be much easier, once moving turn back up the hill. Kind of the reverse of stopping when skiing; to slow down, turn around or go back uphill if you haven’t mastered your edges yet.

Has anyone gone from an e-bike with throttle to one without?

We own one of each. I prefer the non throttle on my Gazelle T10+Ultimate and my wife prefers the throttle on her Fission ST-500. I prefer the Gazelle‘s mid drive. I like an e-bike to “feel” like an analog bike with confidence. She on the other hand uses her e-bike in neutral mode with no...

Buying first electric bike for woman, hilly area... help please

Have you looked at the Gazelle Arroyo C7 HMB Elite? A bit pricey, but checks all of your boxes and has the low maintenance Nexus 7 speed hub transmission and an enclosed chain as well. Hydraulic brakes, Bosch motor, and front and rear suspension.
