I have my brake regen set very low. For you mountain road riders, on long descents, how much braking power does max level regen provide? If you lightly apply brake lever and just engage max regen (and not the brake disc) will it noticeably slow your descent? Or cruising on the level at 40...

?? Could Stromer agree to leave bikes, when requested, at the original higher speed assist BUT the owners would need to be in a higher vehicle class AND might have to register/ insure/ and driver’s license?? Those requirements would suck but at least you’d have a better bike experience.

That’s too bad on the dark platinum end of May arrival. The all gold is too over the top for me . Thinking of selling my ST5 with 450 miles and getting the ST7. Too bad it is priced like solid platinum….

@FrankPoz , regarding noise at low cadence levels: I rode the TQ Trek mtn bike version and it was very quiet at all cadence levels. It was limited to 20 mph so I could not get a preview of how the Domane + version might be with less weight and road tires.

That anti theft Stromer is the good side of external control. It can bite you in the butt though… Did a 74 mile ride and at the end at ice cream social I moved the bike 40 feet to another spot. Bike was off and it went into theft mode…. Rear wheel gets locked by intentional motor resistance...
