PAS seems to kick in within a quarter turn so havent used the throttle in the lower gears ,bit reluctant to do it ,i wouldnt like buying new chains or cassettes or deraileur hangars !!!!!!! Amazing machines though,

Well,just got back from 30 km of delight ,elapsed time 62 minutes,battery remaining 16%,yup I hammered it ,used all the modes and all the power assist levels and of course ,plenty of throttle. Took the gravel and grass options when I could just for fun!!!!!!!! Got to try a few more suspension...

Test ride today ,the way it leaps forward when throttle is applied is amazing.......test ride 20 k this morning if the weather allows ,we've had several days of 120 k winds .fine days but temperature was12degees c ,plus the wind chill.

Assembled it in our drive way this afternoon .....pretty easy job as others have said ,put some anti seize on the front axle ,should have done it on the pedals as well but was in a hurry ......lol I asked for throttle from zero ,and it does work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, put 45 pounds in each tire...

lubing chains is in my vocabulary ..........My Suzuki 1250 fa has its original chain and sprockets after 100,000 km and nine years of ownership. I have a much less complex ebike and clean and lube the chain every time I ride it ,makes that expensive stuff last longer !!!!!!! A stitch in time...

Tom ,Frey meister !!!!!! I have assembled a little tool kit with Allen keys ,Park tool 3 way ball driver and a cycle torque wrench..............I am setting off to pick it up soon. Have had motor cycles for most of my life so have the basic tools. I'm a menace with a spanner or socket set...

My cc is due here on Friday ,Iwas putting some assembly tools together ,but wondered if they have aseembly tools with them? Instruction book with some torque values?

Just had word that Customs have given import approval for my cc. It will take 2 more weeks before it arrives in Wellington from Auckland,we are now in Covid lock down ,so this will have an effect on freight movement etc. Cant wait !!!!!!!!

i'm 1.77 and 100 kg ...............I think I'll put mine together and take it to a local cycle mechanic to look 2 head bearings and rear axle to see if they come with enough grease. just at the stage of paying the freight forwarder ,customs and the customs agent . It will be a couple of weeks...

I'm 69 years old and interested in comfort rather than speed .......lol.............does it ride and handle nicely? What range do you get on a charge? ,I will be doing flat to undulating ,usually on the River bank multi use path in Lower Hutt where I live.

My cc is due in Auckland in a day or two ,by sea. Cant wait!!!!!!

I think I can recall a figure of 32 kg ,cant find it in any of the online info ,including the Frey published specs . Multiply that figure by 2.2 to get it in to pounds weight .......about 70lbs by my calculations!!!!!!

Just received my completed bike photo ,prior to boxing up for shipment . 5 months exactly from order date at the end of January 2021 . Very pleased to see it , It will take a month to ship to New Zealand.

I ordered my cc with the swept back bars.....50 days ago now. I have a much less sophisticated e bike which has similar bars ,which allow a quite upright seating positon ..very comfortable

Just heard from Cecelia , she said that the promised delivery date will be the same as they promised ie 3 months plus one month for delivery. Will update as things progress.

Frey re open for business today ,our time( New Zealand} Its 45 days since I ordered my cc. Has any one else had replies about delivery dates?

But i did see a policeman with a machine gun on the river bank 2 nights ago ,I kid you not ,reallyy rare sight in NZ
