What Valid E-bike Complaints have you Heard?

Plenty of bike lights out there that have the 'facula' cut off, I've got 2x Lumintops on my bars as well as the stock LED that came with it. The Lumintops i can angle out using the mounts giving me more side coverage, mounts are piss easy to change direction and up/down as required.

Everything is out to kill us

Sad fact is if you dont ride like everything is out to kill you your risk of injury or death is that much more. Its better to be 'wrong' by the law that insist on a right you have that may just get you killed, face it most motor vehicle traffic doesnt give a hoot about bike riders, motorised or not.

Everything is out to kill us

I posted a reply to this but dunno what happened... im in AU as well some of the smarter magpies that know your wearing a helmet come in from the side, its not the only bird species that has done this to me while on a bike.An Indian Miner got me in the side below helmet one time and drew blood.

Canada: $600 penalty for not having insurance

Its a moped...stuff like this is just people trying to exploit loopholes or laws that have not caught up. Not even close to being a 'bicycle', assisted or not..buy an ebike and not that POS he owns and he will most likely not have to worry.

    Doctor's letter

More demanding than driving a car doubt it. I have 2 diagnosed disorders and dont drive a car as its unsafe for me or anyone else on the road. I rely on my ebike to get around, i rode motorcycles for half my life as well. From personal experience riding an ebike is not on the same level as a car...

The therapeutic value of ebiking for people with anxiety or depression

Ill have to try the lean the bike trick. Ive become a flashaholic so im spoilt for choice now on which torches i use when i go out at night, torch as we aussies call them. I now have 2 decent bike mounts so i can mount both mid and small torches to use for extra lighting.

Who spent a lot on their E-bike? Was it worth it?

Ive had many people have a quick chat to me about my bike while its with me not one of them has asked how much it cost. The most common question i get is 'how far can it go the battery', not a question i can answer specifically as we all know our range is subject to many factors. If there is a...

Who spent a lot on their E-bike? Was it worth it?

I think by that reply we’re well aware of what your like, you also have very poor reading comprehension and seem to be insulted by other riders sharing their information on purchases made. Good luck with whatever you buy this is just a click bait thread.

Who spent a lot on their E-bike? Was it worth it?

Its worth what your willing to pay, the functionality and enjoyment derived from such expenditure. My first ebike was $2K AU. it got the job done and was all i could afford, next one was custom made and just over $5kAU. Got into ebikes because of health reasons, i no longer drive or ride...

    Best Hydraulic brake system?

Can Am has always been an option, but my mental processsing has to improve greatly before i even consider it PTSD combined with FND (both diagnosed) have ruined everything i used to do, E-Biking has replaced it somewhat. My last bike was a DCT Africa Twin, loved that thing. I removed myself from...

    Best Hydraulic brake system?

Brembo make some of the best brakes for motorcycles and cars so its no surprise theyre making bicycle versions, expect to pay for it though. Also braided stainless steel lines like you see in the pics above, make a huge difference on a motortcycle (i no longer ride motorcycles due to...
