    53 Days/1046 miles with a new 2022 Vado 5.0 - A perfect dream

The new Vado's are awesome, I know you didn't like the IGH but my 5.0 IGH is the best ebike for commuting I have owned. I have owned a trek Allant 9.9+, canyon grail on, trek supercommuter, Santa Cruz heckler, levo, and some others I am missing. I commute full time by bike and the belt drive...

Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Vs turbo Vado 3 IGH

I just got the Vado 5.0 IHG, I couldn't be happier with the automatic. I started commuting full time and got the trek Allant top of the line and it sucked. Uncomfortable and not a good ride. I tried the Vado with no experience with belt drive or the auto shifting. Man it is awesome, it shifts...

    Trek Super Commuter

All three of the bikes that came into the local shop (Specialized Vado) all had broken rear racks. Says more about the packing, but I was not impressed seeing that. I was going to buy the Vado but changed my mind. Now I like the fact that Bosch motor is in the trek bike, not specialized own...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

They are not available and was told on the boat in route to the states. The 5.0 model is supposed to arrive the first few weeks in June and the 6.0 model has a July delivery date. I really want mine now and have it on order, but I am waiting for the 6.0 to arrive

    The new turbo Vado 2017

I counted the spokes today as well and felt a little nervous with a lower spoke count but still a really heavy bike

    The new turbo Vado 2017

I do like all of that stuff, they are quoting early June for the 5.0 and mid July for the 6.0. I changed my order to the 6.0 for the fork. Curious what the horn sounds like. Looking forward to the reviews on here. I still feel like its so much money and with the July date, caught myself browsing...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

So they just released even more Vados in the US and now show a Vado 6.0. I have enough money on the shops books cause they took back my Turbo S. It looks like the Vado 6.0 added a better shifter and a front shock. I know the shock will add more weight but would that be an improvement, should I...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

Thanks for posting that Scott. So I am excited for this new model. I owned a Turbo S a few years ago but sold it when I needed the cash. I regretted it and found myself wanting to mostly commute by bicycle again, I picked up the S at what I thought was a good deal. Well the bike had quite a few...

    2013 Turbo Experiences

I have not had any issues with my gears, i have a few hundred miles on mine now and still love it. So much fun to head home after work, glad i bought this instead of a motorcycle, money in my pocket everyday with no gas insurance and reg, plus easy to get to work using trails

    MIleage mode and miles

I am learning its really hard to gauge how far i will go, because it really depends on the environment. 20 miles is pretty normal using turbo. I have not ran it all the way in eco, but running eco for 8 mile trip then running turbo home i am still above 50 percent battery.

    New Specialized Turbo Models

Thats good to know 1000 miles, i put 100 miles in my first week using it. How are you telling its worn, can you see belt or fibers or somthing coming through.

    New Specialized Turbo Models

In regards to the steel frames, i don't know. I have always had carbon bikes, but they are so fragile with my kids banging things around, made me nervous, i love my steel frame, but keep lusting over the carbon, don't know why cause my steel frame actually rides better i feel, more stable high...

    New Specialized Turbo Models

Yeah, i did not think no shock would bother me, as i ride a salsa fargo and salsa colossal all with zero suspension. But your right, i ride some pretty smooth roads and paths and sometimes i hit a little pothole i didn't see and BAM, surprised the frame didn't break. But normally i have no...

    New Specialized Turbo Models

This link is a video to Lucas, the girl who seems to represent a lot of the turbos from Specialized in online videos. I debated the new cheaper turbo but went with the turbo S. The new cheaper turbo has no regen and the motor is different, if you watch the video she talks about the sweet spot is...

    Commuter Log

So i have now completed my first week commuting on this bike, wow, wish i would have bought it a long time ago. Looking at my commute on garmin, i realized that riding my normal bicycle, not only have i been riding to work less and less, my weekend rides have dropped off also. I believe because...

    MIleage mode and miles

I saw one of the posts member Brambor, posted 57 miles and still 18% battery left using the stock eco mode (30%). I am curious of others on here. How much do you weigh (If you care to post) flat land, hills, or mixed and how far are you getting on eco mode and more specifically if you keep it on...

Specialized Turbo now vs. Stromer ST2 later

Yup Bay area, I am in the east bay though, so that is quite a trek to redwood city or sunnyvale, but good to know thanks, i will keep those places in mind. I think if the prices were more affordable and the sales channels were much better, this market would take off. People are just unaware of...
