Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Wednesday night I had a fun but long band practice. When I got home I was heading upstairs with my load out which is 2 guitars in one bag, my Kemper amp in another etc. Just for fun I decided to trip going upstairs and smash my knee on hard wood. The only good thing was that there was no audience.
Next morning I was limping like a gimp on my way to get a double banger flu and covid shot. Opted out of a ride.
Yesterday the weather was spectacular. Was pushing 20C and gorgeous out. Thing is I was a tired, achy in the joints mess and still with a hurtin' knee.

I admonished myself into getting on the bike anyway. Try to shake it off. Headed down to River road and into the Greenway near Alex Fraser Bridge.
So nice and warm out. Likely the last gasp of good temps...

On the way, there were a few long patches of newly laid VERY large gravel laid down. These rocks were up to maybe 2" and NOT tamped down. Even on my bike this was extremely sketchy as the rocks were very loose. That was when I fully realized how much my joints/muscles were affected by both of those shots. Talk about trepidation and unease...

Pressed on until I saw this sign... again...

Yeah, well last time they weren't kidding, so I didn't feel like challenging it again today. Turned around.
Seems like all my choices are pretty much limited. I took the sign as a "sign"...

Decided to take a different route home and convalesce further...

Sadly only the weather was in your favour mate...hope the knee and the health improves for you!

So yesterday was a mess... I was admittedly a wreck.
Today was an improvement indeed. Muscle/joint difficulties somewhat abated, knee pain still there but a tad lessened.
Weather wise another stellar day despite the temp lowering again to 16C.

Had to do another Mud bay run.. Around here Fall means Fall, and in the 20-30km gusts the leaves looked like snow falling in places.
Very crunchy sounding...

The Greenway runs parallel to Hwy 91 for a bit, including this truck rest stop...

A coal train heading to Roberts Bank terminal...

What a day! The park was pretty darn busy. No surprise I suppose...

It's a great day to be a duck...

Water break...

Shady spots were rather cool, and I'm glad I wore my vest on top of two long sleeve layers...

This arterial road helps me get home with very little traffic...

Graphics applied to these utility access points (fiber, cable, copper) are fairly ubiquitous...

Three blocks from home...

Aggravated the knee, but so glad I went for it!

Around town, I’ve been taking my “big camera”. Forces me to slow down.
