Peddle Assist not working

I replaced the clutch in my Bafang G510 motor. When I put the motor back on the bike the pedal assist does not work. Throttle is working fine. I took the motor back off and checked that the wires inside the motor were connected correctly to the controller. Still no pedal assist.
Any ideas what the problem could be or what I should check next?

Do you have a PAS sensor on your bike's crank axle. That's what I'd check, making sure it's undamaged, properly mounted, and plugged in.

Double check all again.
The torque sensor is part of axle assembly that you installed the new clutch on... So follow and check that wiring well.
Then I'd unplug and reset all the connectors on the controller.

If your motor Is UART... You can use the programming software to check the torque sensor output

I have taken motor apart and rechecked all connections. Throttle only, no PAS worked fine for 2 weeks, now I have Error Code 30 and nothing works. I purchased the connection cable and downloaded the programming software. Bike will not connect to my laptop. I can install a new controller, but as I understand it a new controller would have to be synced to the motor using the software. (that won't connect). Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

You do not use the software to sync the motor with a new controller... You use a special display.

As for not connecting to your pc.. Have you tried updating the USB driver for the dongle on your laptop?

Error code 30 is a communication error. Typically meaning a bad 1T4 cable or display.
If you're handy with a multimeter.. You should be able to do a continuity test on the cable. Also check for damaged/bent pins.

I do not have specific experience with this motor. On some you can clear the code by doing a reset and then go in through the display to set to factory defaults. @Gionnirocket knows about these motors. Listen to him. When I do this it takes all of 90 seconds. Customers don't know that. They come back after a burger and it is fixed. Then I get a tip because it was so fast.

Also... If the communication error 30 is caused by a bad 1T4 cable... that can explain why you can't connect your laptop as well

I borrowed a friends calibration display. It also told me I have Error Code 30, and thats all. My laptop is pretty new, I'm sure the drivers are up to date. I purchased a new 1T4 cable. It has a round connector, my motor has a square one. Did I get the wrong cable?

Which connector is round? The main one (1) to the motor ?
The 1T4 for the Ultra is different than the one for the BBS motors... The Ultra one is square and typically white at the motor end.
