A ride today in the low winter sun, the bridleways around Frodsham
All of them quite challenging, but endless loam covered paths and impossibly quaint bridges over rocky streams
This is the thorn, I thought it was a nail for some time.
This bridleway was at the end of their driveway
I kept bumping into these two, they were doing the same tracks.
We love a good sign
These bridleways climbed up and down through the woods over the hills, simply gorgeous
The Neo hit a tree and decided to just hover out of reach, so I had to get the controller out to rescue it
Even I was nervous, some of the trails had pretty hairy, noyt helped by going over slippy rocks with every chance of being catapulted over the edge.
The trail back to Frodsham just got more and more magical as the sun started setting
This trail was probably the most incredible path I have ever ridden, height exposure to the left and built like a mini snaking roller coaster
It went on for miles, dream like silence over the loam injected with whoops..big drop.
It was actually a relief to reach the descent point, the gopro lens flattens the drop, it was which tree should I grab stuff.
It kicks you out right next to this cottage.
This is where Daniel Craig grew up as kid, his dad was the landlord, no Bond theme whatsoever.
A bit posh, the pub facing is the Bears Paw, looks exactly as you would think inside.
I missed loads of trails and towers due to running out of time, I will return, maybe if it snows.
