Still bothers my thighs so I am going to try these no nose seatsThat is one big azz seat.
The best is the Bontrager Boulevard 205.Still bothers my thighs
Is that the fluid filled one?The best is the Bontrager Boulevard 205.
Thank you I have cancelled the two no nose saddles and will try one of these insteadThe best is the Bontrager Boulevard 205.
I have not used the gel pads one. I have used them on about five bikes including my daily town bike. One was for the woman who is riding 6-hours per day, living in her tent, riding from Seattle to Maine. Supportive comfort is essential in her case. It has ventilation in the middle and there is no contact there. The ischial sit bones are supported but it also flexes quite a bit there. For fun look up ischial callosites, images. You don't want those. As Jeremy mentioned it comes with a 30-day return policy, so hang on to the box and packing materials. Is that the fluid filled one?
The most I ride is about 10 milles at a time so no real issue just nit picking. Anyway I found a used one off eBay and made an offer that was accepted it should be more than fine for my grocery runs. I was a little concerned about the fluid leaking which some have experienced but I got such a good deal it is worth any leak risk to try 20% more comfort lolI have not used the gel pads one. It is silicone gel, akin to the stuff around your bathtub or that seals windows and aquariums. I don't think it can leak. It is also used for breast implants so you will be riding on tits. How comfortable can you get?I found a used one off eBay

Cool idea if it could be made leakproof. But I was offended by the shameless saddle fondling at 0:38.It is liquid and has leaked
It is liquid and has leaked
Okay, I stand corrected. So it had leaked on the one you purchased? That sucks. Two more of my bikes are getting the non-fluid ones, a cargo bike from Spain and and another Gravel from England. It is liquid and has leaked
No no not the one I am getting, at least not yet lol. It just had been reported that a few owners had leaks after significant use. It does not seem to be a frequent issue now though. Mine has been shipped, it is a used one but does not leak.Okay, I stand corrected. So it had leaked on the one you purchased? That sucks. It looked on the video that it was filled with white latex paint or tubeless sealant. What a mess. If you get new jeans just make sure that any staples from tags are removed on the backside.reported that a few owners had leaks
The fluid used in the Trek (Bontrager) Patent Fluid bike saddle—such as the Commuter Fluid or Boulevard Fluid models—is a proprietary, non-toxic, viscous liquid designed for pressure redistribution. It is encased in sealed chambers within the saddle's padding to move dynamically with the rider, reducing peak pressure by an average of over 20% compared to traditional gel inserts (based on Bontrager's biomechanical testing). The exact chemical composition is not publicly disclosed, as it is part of Bontrager's patented technology (likely a silicone-based or similar non-compressible, low-viscosity fluid similar to those used in other cycling comfort components). User reports indicate it is clear and water-like when it leaks, and it is not waterproof or intended for exposure. It looked on the video that it was filled with white latex paint or tubeless sealant.
