Last Friday my ride started at the small town of Rochford, South Dakota. Population 8. Also home of the Moonshine Gulch Saloon. It is right off the Mickelson.

You will love the Mickelson. I rode 46 miles on it Friday. Rochford to Hill City and back. I walked around the town of Hill City a little and visited the chocolate store and nibbled on my treats on the return.

The wind makes for a much less pleasant ride.

That is a lot for single track I think! It takes me twice as long to make the same miles on single track. I don't do it very much, neither my bike nor my skills are really up to it, but I have been enjoying doing some of the easier stuff. however it takes the same amount of time to do less than...
