Always depends on what you use the bike for. For commuting (if you live in a pretty flat area) I´d mostly suggest hub drives. If you are mostly trailriding or mountainbiking, I´d never suggest a hub and would always go with a middrive.

Regarding haibikes with a bosch motor, those things are nearly waterproof. Its obvious that you shouldnt spray that thing down with a pressure washer, but as far as I know, there should be no problem rinsing the bike off with a hose (without pressure ofc).

Well thats only because they´re pretty unique. If it would be a totally normal car, I doubt many people would go that lenghts. I for myself wouldnt by a car without being able to check it out first. And I wouldnt by a tesla anyways.

A slightly bent derailer hanger could be the cause of that too. If only a set number of gears dont work great, its mostly the hanger which isnt perfectly straight. You can try to adjust all you want, if the hanger is the problem you wont get far without adressing that first. If it stays that...

For that price, Im certain it will lack any quality parts nor hold out long. And with those tires, I wouldnt even get over curbs, thats not really a electric bike imo, rather a electrical toy scooter.
