So. Got a new controller from paul. Hooked it up and straight away i got power to the display and i thought great! Put it back on the bike, wired up and took it out. Motor works, display works but the throttle doesnt work and nor do the brake cut offs. Anyone know it there is another electric...

Thanks, might try the techies over at endless sphere. There is a fuse on the battery side, it's ok I checked it. The connections are tricky, but I'll get some jumpers and see if I can test more there. Jim

Good point, i didnt know that. But i guess i cant really test that cause i cant get power to the unit to put it under load, catch 22 sort of thing. Bike has run, it's a new kit and I've done about 400km. But now the kit is off the bike and on the kitchen table. Just battery connect and display...

did some video googling on lectriccycles interbike 2015 and saw the new motor in hand. nothing good, but a look see. On a similar topic, what is 'e-rad' is it a brand? is it a technology? see it flying around a lot but my latest google on it just gets a bunch of sales ads.

Thanks - got to keep us posted on what he says. I've been eyeing up a new bike, full suspension, and most of these new bikes have a large bottom bracket. If this kits works out I might have an option available to me, cool.

all sounds good, congrates. I think you will find an even better experience when you set it up on your trek. I got my kit setup on a poor bike also and ever single bump is so much more aggressive at speed. I think, and would hope, the ride would be much nice with a little suspension up front.
