XT60-to-ST3 cable adapter

I'm having a difficult time finding a cable with XT60 female on one end and what I think its an ST3 male plug for a new battery charger. I appreciate your help people

With almost certainty you'll have to fabricate one yourself... or find someone who will.

That said.. Perhaps inquire with... GRIN

One alternative that I've done in similar situations is to cut the connector off each charger somewhere in the wire legnth (I prefer close to the charger with about 6" of wire on that side ) and crimped barrel connectors on all ends so I can plug them in as needed. Just be mindful of polarity and use different genders for each so it can't be plugged in backwards.

Here both chargers used female for positive and male for negative. Then did the opposite on the connector side.
If you want to make it semi_permanent... Once connected you can put a piece of heat shrink over the connections so they can't be pulled apart.
This is fast, easy, requires no soldering and is very secure when done correctly.
You can also use a spade or any other type of crimp on connector you may have. I find barrel go together and come apart easily while still being secure.

I've soldered XT60 connectors and tho not for the amateur to attempt... that's really not the issue.
It's the inability to find the so called ST3 connector.. and then the necessity of a soldered connection in this situation.

That is definitely not an ST3 connector. It's likely proprietary. It's a common practice with some bike makers.
An ST3 looks like the one shown here and above, and has a pinout like this:

I'm not sure why you want to replace your charger, but if it's defective, as Gionnirocket says above, you can cut the connector off and wire it directly to the new charger, or an XT60 connector. Make sure to check the wiring for the correct polarity.

That's half the battle.... Do you happen to know where to buy one with an XT60 ?

I think he has a new charger already with the XT60 on it.
Never liked the 5.5mm barrel for this application. Low current rating, typically 2a (tho this one states a probably bs 8a) and they easily pull apart and are prone to failure. Conversely the xt60 is way overkill as far as an amperage rating.
Me personally I like just adapting what he has already. Why go through the added expense especially when it deprives you of an opportunity to cobble.

Isn't the third pin on 3015 connector used for something like thermal protection that would be lost if going from 3 to 2 of the xt60?
