So when you say windy, are you talking about the curvature of the roads, or the velocity of the air currents ??

I'm pretty sure that GOD has more to do with the current weather situation than how humans built the roads?

My Honda XR-200R would go 70 mph.
My 550 Nighthawk would only go 193 kph.
The Honda 500 Interceptor would go 240 kph.

I bought the wrong motorcycle, but I didn't fit on an Interceptor or a 600 Ninja.

And I had to be going over 100 mph for the wind to lift me off the handlebars so I didn't have to do a pushup to ride it.

I was happy enough with my upright riding position and limited top speed on my Nighthawk though.


It was Way More comfortable, as much as @Stephan would disagree.

Yeah, I need to be going about 80mph on my bike for the wind to take some pressure off my wrists and it's a "sport touring" bike. Go figure. The full on GSXR was painful to just sit on in the showroom so I bought the GSX-F, comfy by comparison. 1st and only speeding ticket was 3 years ago, Cop got me going opposite direction on a two lane backroad which I'd ridden hundreds of times and never saw a cop. No mercy even though there was no traffic, no pedestrians, rural road, clear skies, dry pavement. Ideal conditions for speeding.

The Ninja and the Interceptor had a carved out gas tank for your knees to tuck into.
My knees were hitting the corners of the cutouts.

Even my Nighthawk left my legs angled, so I adjusted my foot pegs downward to fit me better.

I was out for a ride and stopped at a stop light when the guy behind me got out of his car to tell me that my brake lights were always on.??

I adjusted my brake pedal, but not my brake switch, so my brake light was always on.

Go figure. The full on GSXR was painful

A guy at school had a GSX and took another student for a ride during lunch.
Some old lady pulled out in front of them, and instead of hitting the brakes, he Hammered the gas hoping to scoot around her.

It didn't work, they crashed and the passenger broke his ankle.
