Hi everyone, I'm new on EBR. Main ebike is a 2024 Specialized Creo 2. Ideal for my rides that are typically 50/50 road/gravel around Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire (England). My average ride 30 mile but max has been 65 mile. At almost 70y old, I only use assist on hills, so still have plenty charge remaing on longest ride.

I use Wahoo Roam 3 and Garmin RCT715 radar/camera.

Welcome aboard!

We'd love to see your bike and the places you ride. My 3 favorite forum threads are the ones for sharing ride photos.

Zippy2, Welcome to EBRforum. I picked up my Creo 2 Comp in June. So much fun! I ride 80% road 20% trails here in Northern California. With your 50/50 road/gravel riding, what tires are you using? I have read that UK spec Creos have a lower speed cut off for assist. Mine is 28mph.

Hi Edobici
Thanks for the welcome. Tyres (tires) are the original factory fitted - Tracer Pro 47mm (they measure as 50mm / 2").. UK and EU law requires assist shut off at 15.5mph. However, I don't find this to be a problem, Creo 2 gets me up to speed , I get up to 22mph pedalling on the flat! My cadence is low, so when cassette wears I'll probably upgrade for 52-10t.
Back in late 90s visited California for business - LA, Ventura county area, HW1 to Santa Barbara one weekend.
My home area Nottinghamshire is location of Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood county).
Creo 2 Comp is a great ebike, light enough to lift. My ride buddy has Cube eMTB, 25kg - rakes 2 of us to lift over a fence.
