2025 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

I feel no pain from rain, I dont need to huddle after a puddle, Im away with spray.
I have found an ultimate answer for deep puddles that couldn't be avoided, the MTB technique: Gain a lot of momentum, stand on the pedals, cross the puddle without pedalling :)

Some more pictures of mine riding my Roadrunner:

Me and Marek riding casually... (Read: at a very low speed so Grzesiek could take a photo) :)

An "on demand" photo :) I pretend to be a hardcore cyclist! :D

Pretending a great effort on climbing! (You all know climbing in full power TURBO is like playing with a cuddly toy) :D

At the top of the climb, the summit :)

When the jockey wheel departed, I took my backpack off for tools and there was easily and inch thick layer of mud over the whole thing , so I checked the ass of my pants, the same.
I was also getting mud on the gopro lens constantly from front wheel flick and on my face.

Keep us posted on how those fenders work out for you.

So after that sliding, muddy, wet rock and leave strewn ride, today Dan rode to his parents along the cycle path, crashed, three ribs, concussion, bad collar bone break, found wandering about by walkers in complete confusion, doesnt remember anything, even setting off on the ride.
Helmet has taken a huge hit.
No damage to the Focus ebike, a mystery

Thats ended any rides this year, tbh I was getting concerned by his constant falls on the rides, enough to avoid dodgy parts or walk them myself to force him to.

Ive had a few, the problem is you keep knocking them off getting on the bike and they dont protect the dropper post or stop mud up your back.
I'll try these out, gotta be better than nothing

I took the Pinarello out for a jaunt on Friday. It was my third ride, and the first after the upgrades. I'll write a review of it in the build thread, but in short, It's what I was after in an electric bike.

I rode out to Skaket Beach in Orleans, one of my favorites.

I rode out through the dune walking path. It's a much easier bike for me to ride on sand than the Tesoro.

The serenity of the ride home.

This Assaver? :) They make a variety of them, some even suitable for fat bikes!

The owner is a dedicated cook. He speaks perfect Polish but when you listen carefully to his longer speech, you start hearing traces of a foreign accent!

Moshnam City, or the area where I live, ominous clouds!
