Hi, I am new to this forum but would welcome some advice please.
I own a pair of old ( 7 or 8 years) Raleigh Array ebikes with front hub motor and slide in battery under the rear rack.
I have a reoccurring issue on one bike as follows:
I slide the battery into its mount and then switch it all on and everything is fine. I then switch the system off and that works fine too.
Then if I attempt to switch it all on again, nothing happens - unless I slide the battery out and back in again, and then it works fine again.
I have 2 identical bikes so have the ability to swap the batteries around so have established the issue is the bike not the battery.
This problem repeats exactly the same each time so I am thinking that it could be electrical rather than a lose connection as it is a regular issue, whether I slide it very gently in or with a bump.
So can anyone offer up any explanation to this frustrating issue please? Alan
