Frequent access problems: “Oops! We ran into some problems"

Hi folks,

I see the following frequently. On another forum, it was noted that A.I. bots (or should I just say A.I.s) were putting a tremendous load on that forum. I wonder if the same is happening here? I was just wondering if I was alone in seeing this (could be a networking problem for me)...

I'm getting those, too. Betting they're prepping the software or servers for another try at less disruptive ads.

I’m curious if using AI attracts AI. Similar to a bot network. Should be interesting times ahead.

I would bet that the AIs that people are running ubiquitously now are hitting EBR all the time. But, I really don’t know if that’s what’s causing this.

Other sites have had to restrict access using CloudFlare or something that tries to confirm you’re a human… I don’t know. I frequent guitar forums (another passion of mine), and some of them have tried to find creative ways to restrict AI and other bot-related activities so that they don’t load down the forums.

Logging out, closing the page, then reopening and logging back in seems to help.

Hi, BH… Yeah, that hasn’t helped for me. It seems to happen in like 1/2-hour increments, and then all’s clear after it restores. I will try the logout/login (and maybe clear cookies again) next time, but, again, hasn’t helped for me.

I'm getting this as well.
I'm also on a few guitar sites, and some are now using AI bots internally as faux users to interact with real users and pump up overall usage. Horrible...

This site is overloaded 3x-4x a day, every day. It can't be us.

I noticed AI bots on this site over a year ago; obvious by their responses.
