I just see one goose and one gull. I would like a sculpture that is made to cast shadows that change forms as the sun passes. It would be a sort of sundial in a plaza.

In Brittan they ride right lever = front brake. I thought I a has stepped through the looking glass to madness for three seconds today. I had just removed everything from the handlebar of a UK bike and flipped the backswept bar upside down and left to right so it looks like a moustache bar from 1928. Cool, right? But when I went to attach the levers they were backwards or upside down. WTF. Then I figured it out. Who knew?

Okay so sculpture idea: For example, people age in known ways. Noses get longer ... So, the sculpture would evolve its shadow depending on the angle of the sun. The sculpture would be abstract and the shadow realistic.

I can do it with my pecker....
9:00am it cast a Washington Monument shadow
12:00 noon it's a mushroom
3:00pm the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Oh my, really??? I never knew that, Pedal! Great, I learned my new thing for the day and I’m not even done with breakfast yet! :D :D

I don't think it's just the UK. My Tesoro model was recalled in the US because some amount of the 2021 production had the levers set up "backwards" for the US. Either mine wasn't one of them, or the selling dealer did the recall. My guess is the latter, because the front brake line is too long and should be trimmed.

Cannondale has a few sku's which are for the Great Britain Market so one could be mixed up in Hengelo and ended up in the non GB market

Countries mentioned are all GB

I wonder if with Dagen-H in 1967 Swedish bikes changed. That is the day they changed from driving on the left to driving on the right. What about Hong Kong? @Base, I had a bike nerd photograph a bike yesterday, he only focused on components and never took a photo of the bike. He geeked out on parts whist missing the whole.

Is that why your rack is set up like wheelie bars?

No.
I had my Topeak Rack Bag all set up properly but it was bouncing around like 🤪 and making all kinds of racket,..

When I got home my water 🍶 had been tossed off.
I had it sinched up as tight as it could go, but it was gone.

I cut the cord and tied a bow, but it was too late. 😀

The flashing LED light that I glued to my Rack Bag held super strong though !!

Shoo Goo Kicks Ass !!!@ 😀

So,....
I decided to delete the Topeak rattle bag, then flipp and rotate the rack further forward.

I didn't have much in the rack bag anyway, so i put everything in a waterproof bag that I have yet to install properly on my ebike,..

I don't want my tool bag getting tossed into the tire then getting jammed in the swing arm.

So,..
I figure that if I get the moving mass of my tool bag further towards the fulcrum of my four-point rear suspension, I will effectively make the 1.190 Kg bag become more suspended than not and therefore nearly weightless. 😀

I think 🤪 s*it up when I 🚬 the Vado. 😀

That is the day they changed from driving on the left to driving on the right.

My old ebike was built for the European market,..

When it was brought to Canada (more than 20 years ago) they flipped the handlebars over to get the twist throttle on the right where it's supposed to be, so now the gripshifter is upside-down on the left,..

I swapped my brake levers on my ebike at the end of last year.

The front brake should be on the right with rear brake on the left.
Just like any normal motorcycle. 😀

Uma, what I've heard is the British arrangement of brake levers had nothing to do with the left-hand traffic. It has just accidentally happened. I'm sure the Swedish had the European brake lever arrangement even before the H-Day.

Just think how it is weird with gas scooters: France has the reversed front brake lever position.

I am putting the motor into my British gravel monstrosity after just reading Frankenstein. Then I do some wiring and programing. @PCeBiker's creation is my inspiration. But, instead of skateboard grip tape I will use asphalt roofing shingles applied with hot tar.

The Grip Tape is Awesome !!!

It stays stuck, but you can always pull it off to redo it, reseat it, or replace it.
It leaves no residue behind.

You mentioned touch points when you built your two-wheeled creations.
Grip tape on those touch point can be beneficial.

I glued fabric sandpaper to my throttle, as well as knurling the push lever with a 🔥 🔪 for gripage.

Belt sander belts are Ultra Durable.

I Knurled a pretty damn Knarly pattern in my thumb throttle lever !!!@ 😀

But, instead of skateboard grip tape I will use asphalt roofing shingles applied with hot tar.

Go with the grip tape.
It's removeable, reversible, and reusable.

Tar works pretty good, but it makes a fukin mess.

This is why I moved my rack off the rear triangle and to the seat post. You're killing your suspensions ability to work correctly.
The Seatpost mount does have its own drawbacks... but after trying both the Seatpost wins hands down.

In theory anyway full suspension bikes never have racks or kickstands. The load on a rack impacts the suspension somewhere, and the kickstand might be auto-deployed when going over an obstacle. One exception is the Tero X. It can have a compromised suspension with the rack, and have its kickstand deploy on a log because some people in a focus group said that is what they want.
