I’m more or less just thinking out loud here but I own a Trek Verve +3. It has the standard display, which I think is called a Purion. It shows miles total, trip miles, estimated range and what power level you have it set to. Also has a bar type display for the battery. It’s ok but I’m wondering how easy it is, if it’s even possible, to install a better display? Is it a plug and play for me? Would it have to go to a dealer?

I see things like cadence, a better display for the battery as an actual number instead of bars. I’m not sure what I’m missing if anything with a better display.

Thanks, it’s probably more money than I want to spend. I was afraid it would be kind of pricey.

I have a Purion display on my Cannondale Neo Left 3, which I don't think much of. Heck, my cheap $25 computer I have on my regular road bike has more features.
A while back I checked into upgrading the display to a Nyon, but found out the motor would have to be dropped and new wiring from the display to the motor installed.
I decided it wasn't worth the $650 (display and install).
