My Experience Upgrading from Dalat V1 Vintage 2024 to Dalat V1 Dual Battery Edition (2026)
I’ve been riding a Dalat V1 Vintage Edition (2024) for quite a while and recently upgraded to the Dalat V1 Dual Battery Edition – newest 2026 version. After putting some real miles on it, here’s why I genuinely think the upgrade is worth it.
Design & Comfort
The first thing I noticed is the design. The 2026 version looks bolder and more refined. The all-black color scheme makes the bike feel more modern and cohesive compared to my 2024 model.
The seat is also a big improvement — it’s about 2× thicker than my previous bike and noticeably more comfortable on longer rides. Definitely a well-done upgrade.
Security Improvements
Security is much better on this version. It comes with an integrated anti-theft alarm and NFC key system, so the bike can’t even be powered on without tapping the key. This gives a lot more peace of mind when locking it up outside.
Display Upgrade
The screen is larger and now a full-color LED display. It’s easier to read in all lighting conditions and just feels more premium overall.
Biggest Upgrade: Dual Battery System
The most important upgrade for me is the dual battery setup. My 2024 Dalat V1 only had a single battery, which limited how far I could go on longer trips.
The 2026 dual battery version is rated up to 160 km of range, and in real-world riding I’m getting about 130–140 km using PAS level 4 out of 5, which I think is very solid. This alone makes the bike feel way more versatile for longer rides and day trips.
Final Thoughts
If you already own an older Dalat V1 version and enjoy the bike but want more range, better security, and a more refined feel, the 2026 Dual Battery Edition is a meaningful upgrade and definitely worth it. It doesn’t just add features — it actually improves how and where you can ride.
Hope this helps anyone considering the upgrade
