Goggles that fit over eyeglasses?

I'm looking for a pair of riding goggles that fit over prescription eyeglasses so I can stop the tears that pour out of my eyes during cold weather commutes. I can barely see anything for a little while on steep downhills -- not good.

Any suggestions?

The Kroop's Over Eyeglass model (https://kroops.com/collections/cycling/products/over-the-eyeglass-goggle), seems very lightweight and unobtrusive.

I'm in the same boat -- in cold weather, eyes tear-up easily in the ebike wind. But also in summer, I often end up flying through unseen clouds of gnats, and inevitably get a little bug (or dust/debris) in my eye/eyelashes.
I just bought some goggles on Amazon (Pacific Coast Airfoil model) but have not yet had a chance to try them out on the bike. I've worn them at home as a trial, over my glasses -- and they do fit over the glasses, albeit barely -- but I'm wondering how it will be for say, 20-30 miles on a bike... will they press the glasses' frame into my face/eyes over time...
 
I have the same issue in winter ebike commuting with my eyes watering and fogging up when temps dip around freezing. I ended up just using cheap clear ski googles. I also had to use anti fog spray because the googles do fog up at stops and sometimes start to freeze over without the spray. Usually spray/wipe 1-2 times a week during my 3-4 day winter ebike commute (just use the ski googles in the morning at 5:30am for the 7 mile one way trip).

I also have the issue with dust, bugs, or sand during the spring and summer ebike commutes. I use WYND blocker motorcycle and bike Sports glasses to help with that issue. They also come with a head strap to replace the arms if you need a tighter fit.

I have a pair of Guard Dogs that fit over glasses and have foam eye cups, they do the trick but fog up when you are stationary and restrict your lateral vision so you need your head on a swivel when riding in traffic, I have the changers that are photochromatic and they do a good job of protecting your vision when riding into the sun, I bought them from a Harley dealer, that was fun! I do not recommend Cocoons over glasses, the lens scratches up far too easily, and they lack foam eye cups so do not keep the wind out.

PS -- I assumed that @Riversurf wears prescription eyeglasses, when I first read his post. (I wear them as well, so I can only consider goggle options large enough to fit over the eyeglasses -- @mrgold35 I am assuming you wear contacts or no prescription eyewear?)

No corrective eyewear when I ride. I do need bifocal to see fine details close up in low light. I sometimes have to use the camera feature on my iPhone and zoom in the picture if I forget my bifocals.

Yes, I definitely need goggles that go over prescription glasses. I updated the original post to say that. Thanks for noticing.
 
The eyewear store where you get your normal prescription glasses probably offers a safety goggle that can be made to your Rx. I've worked with several guys that had corrective safety eyewear.
 
Alright, now that you have given me ideas to stop my eyes watering up how do I stop my nose from leaking. :mad:

I got into the habit of breathing in with my mouth and exhaling out my nose when temps get near freezing. Exhaling out my nose with body temp warm air really helps snot locker from running. I also wear a balaclava with just cut-outs for my eyes (for my ski goggles). I can just have my nose exposed when I ride on those extremely cold mornings and it stays warm with me just exhaling. My balaclava get full of moisture and starts to freeze if I cover it up.

I live in Wisconsin and wear prescription glasses, so faced the same need a few years back. In case you are still looking, I found variations on these as a cheap & not-too-goofy-looking solution (though my kids still mock me mercilessly lol): https://www.amazon.com/Global-Vision-Outfitter-Motorcycle-Sunglasses/dp/B00S594R9S What I find key as far as blocking cold and wind is the foam padding, which forms a "soft loose seal" (i.e. closes most of the opening to wind around my face, but in a not-uncomfortable way.

Note I only have "standard" size frames though, and even so it's a touch tight to fit my glasses in (I sometimes first fit my glasses into the "goggles" & then put both on at once). If you have larger prescription frames you will have more limited options. In any case see the review, Q&A etc on amazon, there is a ton of discussion on sizing and other options via the "customers also viewed ..."

I'm definitely still looking. Your solution looks like a possibility. It's inexpensive and looks like it would be easy to return so I may give it a try. My frames aren't large, but even one of the "fit over glasses" models I tried (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DHWNEF0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) were really uncomfortable. Yesterday I got a Nutcase helmet, which will be easier to use with a pair of cheap/used ski goggles over or under (BTW Your choice definitely has an Elvis-y vibe!, without the gold). Thank you, and just start singing Hound Dog when your kids tease you.
 
Sierra Trading Post. I got a $100 retail pair for under $30. Be patient. Save big!

Yeah, I briefly tried some ski goggles I had first -- just too bulky, and too "hard" a seal. Also too curved -- I think that is probablyt he main reason they are not confortable. Like I said, one of the main virtues of the pair I got is comfort. I don't need a 100% seal, I'm not having snow etc fly in my face or going > 25 mph. I get 80% of the wind/cold reduction with only 10% of the discomfort. Also, yeah, it looks less goofy -- "Elvis" is still better than "Spaceman" :)

And for $8-$15, not much risk. Good luck
