YouTube video of Spring Ride

Hi all, On the First Day of Spring I got up at 6 am and while waiting for the temperature to reach 35 degrees F, I installed my Nikon 170 to record parts of my ride. Several people have been commenting on the mid-drive noise, comparing it to the noisy Bosh or other systems. Granted it is not as quiet as the Turbo S I test drove, but from just sitting on the bike it is hard to hear any noise at all. Also, with skillful shifting there is not any mashing of the gears and chain. The more I ride my Turbo Levo FSR, the more I realized I made the right choice for me. If you are interested here is a video to watch, it's not 720p for some reason, but you can hear the bike working well. Enjoy.

Nice thanks for the video. I thinks some of the noise is because the camera is mounted to the bike, it will pick every vibration and noise up this way. Thanks again.

@ragtopjoek, just curious; what trail were you riding on in this video? --pretty nice, although I think I could do without the summertime mosquitoes you mentioned

I start my ride at the east side entrance of the James F. Hall Trail - https://www.traillink.com/trail/james-f-hall-trail/ - to the White Clay Creek State Park - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Clay_Creek_State_Park - and follow the White Clay Creek north. The trail will connect to the White Clay Creek Preserve, which in in Pennsylvania - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Clay_Creek_Preserve. I can then follow the Creek for a few miles. I have since learned that a few years back old canals and railroad tracts have been and are being converted to hiking and biking trails. Here is a trail that I plan on riding, stopping at small towns to recharge my body and bike. https://gaptrail.org/

I am glad you enjoyed the video. Now that I have learned how to use the camera , I am going to remake the video and it should be much better. I knew the video would not be that great, but I mainly wanted to show that the mid-drive motor was not noisy and that the Turbo Levo does not bang the gears and chain like some people think because it does not have shift detection.

Hello, I've had my Levo for a couple of weeks now and the shifting did take a bit to get used to but now I have it under control. I'm really impressed with the suspension and balance of the Levo it's a very sorted bike. Nice job Specialized!!
