Color me skeptical about China invading Taiwan.
I would think it kind of a ballsy move to start the first war your country actually fights in over forty years with the largest amphibious invasion in history. And one also has to question with modern weapon systems and surveillance technology whether amphibious invasions are even possible anymore.
The Ukrainians are ripping the snot out of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and they don't even have a navy.

The Canadian snowbirds who normally come to the Southwest each year to places such a Palm Springs California are making alternate plans. International tourists who normally come to Disney theme parks in droves, are making alternate plans. USA products are being boycotted such as Wisconsin cheese. US universities used to draw - brain-drain - the best and the brightest students from across the globe, and they would often stay here. STEM workers create 67% of GDP here. But now they are making other plans. Even top US researchers are choosing McGill. Such utter buffoonery is self-harm. It needs to change but I do not think this admin. is capable of admitting a mistake, like General William Westmorland in Vietnam it is going to be bad. Ahab bad.

We just got back from a cruise and spent time with 3 Canadian couples. They didn't appear repulsed and spent time with us more than once. One talked about the 51st state thing (or 52nd if we got Greenland first) and thought it was hilarious any was offended by the shenanigans. Ya'll need to lighten up.
