Why no CADENCE or POWER displays.

Garmin 1030+ and Specialized Creo.

I chose the e-bike sensor and then picked fields that made sense, kind of. Before going the e-bike sensor route, I did pick other sensors and I believe it showed Cadence. I don't recall about Power. There must be 20 or more POWER options like 10s and 2s and other arcane options.

I accept that Assist Level is for another model as it increments: 1, 3, 5, rather than 1, 2, 3.

There is a separate Creo power sensor that you must pair. I have also found that if you allow the unit to "sleep", at a rest stop for example, the power will often unpair. I am now in the habit of turning it off at a rest stop and then restarting at which it will usually pick up all sensors.
 
@kahn: I don't know what to say. It works for Vado, Vado SL, and Giant Trance E+. A glitch in Creo? Try doing what @jlubeck says. I don't like it but perhaps it is the only way.
 
i found the ANT+ pairing to be very wonky. i had to do them sequentially, first cadence, then power, then speed. adding e-bike screwed it all up. i'm not using a garmin, but perhaps remove them all and then add the primary three sequentially, no e-bike field, and see what happens?
 
@kahn: Is it E-Bike Multifield what you showed to us? Or just a data screen you have composed yourself?
My brother has told me: "Delete the E-Bike Multifield. The e-bike can feed only one device with its data, and it treats the E-Bike Multifield as another device which is different from Garmin Edge. In case you use the E-Bike Sensor, the E-Bike Multifield will not work properly".

His further comment: "If you insist on using the E-Bike Multifield (which I do not recommend), you will need to connect the Power and Cadence sensors, too".

I agree it is doable but why surrender the most modern E-Bike Sensor just to use the E-Bike Multifield, which is not a standard feature of Garmin Edge?

Once I am really awake I will review the replies.

But question #1: Is "E-bike Multifield" the third party "app" added with IO-connect or whatever? As opposed to using the Edge's e-bike sensor to pair with Creo? I discarded the third party app and am using just the Edge's sensor choice for e-bike. I am not separately selecting cadence and/or power sensors.

You say “creo power is displayed in the bottom right field”. I see two numbers, 275 watts and 70. Do you mean the 70 is the motor power? If so, I didn’t know any app besides the Specialized ones and Blevo could show motor power. Ebike Field (not the Ebike Multifield that you are using) only adds battery level and assist level. I’m assuming the 275 watts is your rider input 3 sec. Average power. Please clarify! Thanks!

It is another data field I have loaded. 275 is the power (3 sec averaged). 75 is the average power for the 35 second ride . I only ran this for < 1 minute in my indoor garage without GPS signal. Hence, the 0 distance reading.
