I'm having a hard time following football with all the player displays after each play, the ridiculous game changing rule changes like pass interference and the nonstop ads for online gambling. Add to that the moronic commentators like Tony Romo and that I was a Jets fan 🤮 and I've probably watched less than 30 minutes of football in the past two years.

What Gionniricket said and adding when players aren’t honoring the flag of the USA and kneeling they don’t need my support. There isn’t another country that they could make the kind of money they do here

The anthem thing is about many things, including millionaire football players still getting profiled/pulled over. I knew black coworkers who were getting stopped by cops outside our R&D center when we worked late at night in the 90's. Having money and a good job don't help if they say your tail light is broken. At the same time, I share your fears. My sister-in-law was carjacked. The last time I was in Chicago, I thought these kids were playing rock, paper, scissors, but they were shooting gang signs at our car until they saw we were harmless viejos.

Oh hell, watching football is fun. The KC win was something. Brady vs Rodgers next week.

I always find it strange when people insist on taking offense where none is intended. Free speech... remember? First Amendment to the Constitution?

Anyway, I was rooting for the Browns - first time in playoffs in, what? 18 years? Next year, Super Bowl, baby 🏈🏈🏈!

I'm not saying I like it or 100% agree with it but you miss the point. Are you saying that if THEY believe there are issues in the country that need improvement they don't love the country? The country is perfect? Or that because they're rich they shouldn't care about others who aren't? Only give a f**k about yourself?

I'm a Steelers fan so.... but I think I'm rooting for the Bills. They've never won one, can't root for Aaron Rodgers as they beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl in 2010, Mahomes is alright but don't want them to win two in a row.

Same as what Gionrocket said and I used to watch alot of football. It has gotten unwatchable. Between commercials and replays after any close play, I will stick with TCM and Golf...

To each their own . I watch golf when I need a nap. There are more commercials because that's where the network makes money because with dvr"s nobody watches commercials except for live sports.

What does money have to do with it? If you're rich you can't advocate for those who aren't? Trump is rich and he spent years talking about everything that is supposedly horrible with this country ( "a total disgrace...") And how he was going to fix it.

Some day soon there will be only automated refereeing so long replays will be eliminated. NFL football itself is actually better, faster, a bit less violent, and more precise then when I was a kid watching the Packers.

Love the ignore feature
I'm not saying I even agree with them necessarily but I have a big enough brain to realize someone can criticize a country they love. I mean draft dodging isn't exactly patriotic either is it boss? The rich argument is just jealousy. By that logic well off Jews in the United States shouldn't have cared about the Holocaust because it wasn't them and they had it good......

Hmmm, lots of the same folks who didn’t like blacks kneeling in protest are the same jerks who pissed and shat in the Capitol building. They are the enemy of the people.
Ya it's weird, it's almost like those who claim to love and respect the flag AND cops so therefore they can't watch football complain more about a football player kneeling than a bunch of like minded so called "patriots" storming the Capitol and using the American flag to beat cops. All in the name of a draft dodger.....sad

Well anyways, GO PACKERS!

Packers vs Bills in the Superbowl would shift my sentiment to the poor Buffalo fans, who have never won the big one. Otherwise, Green Bay all the way if they get past Tampa Bay. We'll know tomorrow night who is in.

I don't hate Green Bay but Rodgers and the Packers beat the Steelers back in 2010 so that makes it hard for me to root for them
