There is a new thread a new member started about how he is now a member of the 'Elite' because he purchased a crap internet only bike. I can't even comment, although I like to welcome all new EBR members. A guy is bringing one in today. It is 90 pounds and he keeps crashing. Now it doesn't work at all and no one else will touch it. I will look at it outside pending the weather because I don't even want that battery pack inside. These bikes will have all 5-Star reviews, but only on their own website and written by their mom and her friends from a Mumbai call center. We try to warn them.

Tom,
Post a photo of the Winter Puzzle. It has got to be a giant mess. Better you than me. I will want that spider sometime.

Winter puzzle?
Man, I haven't even looked at the boxes yet. Been crazy running back and forth to the Mayo sorting out how the back surgery will go, or not.
In the meantime, I'm barely able to do my daily chores. Without MS ER I'd be stuck in a chair. But this too shall pass...
I'll see if I can get my kid to come this weekend and help start sorting. It'd be simple if we knew which box...

OK because you needed it I unpacked it, all 4. Just now. YIKES!!! There is NO SPIDER in any box!
2 chainrings 1 silver 1 black I'm guessing about 38T. My new iPhone died 6 days in so a new one lands tomorrow. I'll catch up by phone. Once I'm done pulling what's left of my hair out and getting it set up.

When I am in pain I get grumpy. Besides hundreds of new parts there are two bags of authentic chili pods for making the real stuff. Wouldn't we all like to hold the Mayo if we could and just go for a ride. The black 42 ring has the itsy bitsy spider. I gave up my 'smart' phone three years ago, because it was dumb. It was hard the first day.

Nope. But I'll look again. Yeah, thanks for the chili. I have to drive to a store 30 miles away to get proper ingredients for anything I consider worthy. We knew that moving here we'd miss the foods we have become accustomed to so I retired with a fantastically well-equipped kitchen. My smartphone controls my newest hearing aids. $7K but they are amazing. And with the pocket computer, I can adjust to situations where I could never function and hear before. So I pay the price. Moneywise, intellectually, and emotionally. BUT. This is the best phone yet, but setting it up is hard for an aging brain.

Most old people mean well.... Sometime the delivery sucks..
It's known as being a curmudgeon.

"A curmudgeon's reputation for malevolence is undeserved. They're neither warped nor evil at heart. They don't hate mankind, just mankind's absurdities. They're just as sensitive and soft-hearted as the next guy, but they hide their vulnerability beneath a crust of misanthropy. They ease the pain by turning hurt into humor. . . . . . They attack maudlinism because it devalues genuine sentiment. . . . . . Nature, having failed to equip them with a serviceable denial mechanism, has endowed them with astute perception and sly wit.
Curmudgeons are mockers and debunkers whose bitterness is a symptom rather than a disease. They can't compromise their standards and can't manage the suspension of disbelief necessary for feigned cheerfulness. Their awareness is a curse.

Perhaps curmudgeons have gotten a bad rap in the same way that the messenger is blamed for the message: They have the temerity to comment on the human condition without apology. They not only refuse to applaud mediocrity, but they also howl it down with morose glee. Their versions of the truth unsettle us, and we hold it against them, even though they soften it with humor."

Besides hundreds of new parts
just read this seems I missed it...
Update September 2021: Bafang has sued Tongsheng for patent infringement. Bafang has won this lawsuit, therefore the Tongsheng TSDZ2 officially can't be sold on big platforms like Aliexpress and Amazon anymore. Because of this, it can be hard to find sellers of the Tongsheng TSDZ2 on these platforms.

I am happy to consider a Curmudgeon as a friend. At least you have a point of view. And can laugh at life. I diched the phone because I was the turkey. Barnyard life is great for a turkey. The food is free, he gets to strut and gobble. But what he doesn't know is that he is actually the product, not the beneficiary.
I can get anyone in the US a TS for under $400 in 4 days. Tracking the next day. Amazon takes 6 weeks. Tom will sell those four boxes of parts no one else can get.

I was at a bike shop and the young nerdy clerk lit up. (By-the-way I am a bike nerd.) He took out his phone and showed me a photo of Bill Gates with the same watch I had. $55. A Casio from that big South American river. I use the adjustable bezel all the time, come back in 15 to check the laundry or whatever. It is water proof to 50 M. Why spend $12,000 for a watch that does the same thing. I am not into counterfeits, Bankman-Fried wouldn't have a Casio. He would have a fake Rolex. Gates is a lot of things but not dumb.
