What are these?

These were in my setup box with a new BH Rebel Lynx 5.5.

I feel like they were just something to hold something during shipping and Crazy Lenny threw them in the box during setup.
But I don't know what they are??

They look like the spacers they put between the brake caliper shoes for shipment, which you remove when you are mounting the wheels.

They are. If you take your wheel off, put them in as, if your lever gets pressed with no disc, the pistons can move to far and have to be reset.
