Welcome to the 21st century!!!

veteran is something that is said a LOT in the US you never hear any other countries retired forces EVER say or state this, is it a badge of honour in the US !!!
Well if I was a veteran of most other countries irrelevant armed forces... I'd be embarrassed to mention it too. 🙃

Ooooooh! "Light bulb!" And he rides his bicycles sidesaddle, too? Just a few more pieces of the puzzle to go.....

Actually he prefers no sadle... Just a raw seatpost 🙃

When Americans say, 'Thankyou for your service'.
We, including me cringe inside.

I have no idea why, its obvious that we should respect service, but here we dont really.
If you join, your a mad lad for life and tend to socialise with other ex military.
You will never see a veteran wearing anything to identify themselves as military outside of events.

It sounds awful but they would be mostly mocked for trying to make it their identity

Well judging from the two UK comments... it's no wonder they've been irrelevant since 1776.
But keep glorifying the Royal Family... now that's something to be proud of.

It runs deep and is more relevent than ever recently.
The working classes are openly being called racsts and nzs for flying the british flag.
They are the backbone of the military and they were happy for them to fly it while risking their lives fighting actual nzs, but now its sign of the proles revolting.
Saying to an ex military 'thankyou for your service', would get a rebuke from them.
No we dont, in fact you are a nuisance to the state because you represent nationalism and patriotism.
So now we have an activist Islamic senior minister telling the working classes their patriotism is wrong and her version is right.

All of this is coming for you, your star spangled banner will not survive the globalist push for a collective they control.

Nobody has ever watched 'Rambo'?

When I read you Charge, I recollect a certain Englishman. The man first immigrated in Poland. Later, he married a Russian with the intention to spend his retirement with her in Bulgaria. The Russian state treated him badly. Despite being married to a Russian, he was kicked out to Ukraine after his Russian visa expired. His wife tried "creative solutions" (a bribe) to bring him back to Russia. Then Russia invaded Ukraine for the first time (2014). Despite his bad experiences with Russia, he wrote: "Putin is as a great leader as Winston Churchill was to the UK. He knows how to take care about his nation!"

Really?

Now, I can see some dots connecting his thinking to yours. It is not my intention to draw the line along these dots, though. Yet one Neville Chamberlain should be remembered; a person who was once nominated to the Nobel Peace Prize for giving Czechoslovakia to Hitler to appease him... Like a great Orange leader just recently who so badly wanted the Prize for creating war in his own home country.

I spent my life having 'truths' revealed as lies about every aspect of britain.

The Englishman who wrote the blueprint for Htlrs march across europe and his gncide
Another Chamberlain
Houston Stewart Chamberlain(1911) 'The Foundation of the Nineteenth Century.'
This book reveals everything about the thinking of the time and we were up to our neck as much much as Germany.

And we are here with your politicians being paraded on our tv while they perform for the right.
Poland is being sold as a perfect European country to angry Brits.

Nothing has changed, the EU is making it worse trying to make it better.

I can only encourage you to visit Poland, preferably in the warm season :)
Avoid Cracow: Too many Brits out there :)
Perhaps Mazuria in the Summer? The town of Mikołajki has as many as five e-bike rentals!

No baked beans, I will have to treat it as a continental breakfast.

Oh, one of those despicable lunatics. I won't even waste my time!

my hand must have got on the touch pad( or more insidiously the censors watched and deleted it before I could post) it was a rant about how we do not really own anything and the stupid taxes for the privilege of pretending you have any "property"-(the Indians had this right) plus a blast against the political system in general, you Guys would have found it interesting I would imagine, when the Oligarchs and Plutocrats rule the common man suffers,we give them our wealth and fight their wars( prediction, just before the new state elections gas will go down another 3-5 cents to make the PTB look good.

Apparently no one here has watched the TV show "Combat Dealers". Good old Bruce Crompton. He has a strong attachment to his service and to those who went before him. I guess with most of us, whether we hated or loved the military service no matter what branch, we have a sense of honor. In honor of the millions who served and died so long ago in hundreds of countries around the world. They just started making movies about different countries contributions and what peril they faced on land and sea and in the air. I watched some of those movies earlier this year while in the Philippines around the time of their veterans day. They go on for about two weeks. I grew up watching a lot of war movies on TV but they rarely if ever show those movies anymore. We're all still fighting the same "war to end all wars" on different fronts around the world.

OUCH!!! One reason I inspect replacement bicycle seats closely so I don't get some cheap plastic saddle that could give way and impale my rectum. I hate the thought but I suspect that it may have happened so someone in the past if their seat fell off while running wild down a dirt trail and then sat down not realizing it. Ouch-Ha!

So up to 400m PCs are running a windoze OS that is now unsupported.

Not a mention anywhere in the msm.
Tumbleweeds from microshyte outside of buy a years support if you can magically remember your login password no one has used for ten years .

I wonder if a "riffool" is the same as a, "Phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range"? (Terminator)

Which doesn't mean shyte to the average non-corporate user, until it does, when their favorite software application vendors drop support for Windows 10. The main reason some Windows 10 PC's can't be upgraded to Windows 11 is due to old, unsupported hardware. PC's are cheap. Only the luddites are complaining.

I was thinking more along the lines of up to 400m computers wide open for a hack turning them into a gigantic bot/ crypto farm or mass password/ data steal.

That's not necessarily true. I was very into the latest tech 20 years ago and even built a handful of high end HTPC.
But the older I get the less I have a need for the latest tech and now I can do most of what I need on my tablet. I still have a handful of PC and laptops around that can easily handle what I need from them.. well that is, except for Windows 11 update. Kinda bothering me that I may need to buy a new machine that will probably get less than 6 hours of use per year.
I never leave machines running so no bot takeover going on here.

I wont be upgrading to 11, finally pulled the plug, ordered a new ssd for my spare computer and loading ubuntu probably.
I still use win10 movie maker for videos, but the pc will be unconnected.
Once I find a suitable Linux video editor I can remove Microsoft from my life completely, that will be a glorious day that Ive put off for ten years, but this has steered my hand.
