Vado taillight replacement

Hi all, first time posting here after recently purchasing a specialised vado. Absolutely love the bike which is so enjoyable to ride. I have a favour to ask though of this community. The bike cane without the rear integrated taillight fitted (which meant a discount as was ex display). They have supplied the light but I just ant seem to fit it and there is nothing on the soecialsied website indicating how to connect the wires. The light came with no fitting instructions and really struggling to thread the wires into the holes.

Has anybody tied fitting this light that could give any hints?

Won't the dealer help you with the wire connections? I'd hope they would at least help you identify the hot lead if you don't have a multi-meter to find out yourself. To thread the wires, buy a spool of bare steel wire at the hardware store. Back slide it through the grommets or holes and then tape the light wires to it. Slowly pull it back through.
