VADO SL - convert to 27,5 wheels

No, I haven’t ridden smart Sam’s. I will put them on my list of tires to consider when the time comes to replace my pathfinders. Thanks for your recommendation and the links.

In Europe, Vado SL are fetched with Nimbus II tyres. I was not happy with them due to some traction issues. Hence my swap for Smart Sams.

One of the traction problems was riding onto very small pebbles spread on bike paths; or sand, or small cones that fell from trees. (Polish bike paths are not being cleaned, and we encounter such dirt often here). Nimbus II tyres used to jump on impurities; Smart Sams just ignore them.
