Vado 4 SL front light bracket broke. Any ideas how to re-mount?

The disappointingly cheap plastic mount that connects the light to the stem broke on my wife’s Vado 4 on a ride yesterday, leaving it dangling from its cable. I’m trying to figure a way to just mount it directly on the handlebars. Has anyone figured a simple but clean way of doing this?

Mc Gyver a clamp on the bar or buy a new specialized light.

The light is fine, it’s the cheap plastic clamp that broke.
