Used 2018 Ariel M-Class

Hello,

How much is a used 2018 Ariel M-class worth? Came across one for sale for $1400 (and thinking of offering $1000).

It's in mint condition, (with odometer only showing 214 miles) but compared to the current 2020 version is missing a few niceties.

2020 version has front suspension (2018 version, none), 7 gears (2018 version, 3 gears).

I own a 2018 M-Class and 2020 X-Class. 1400 is way too much for a 2 year old e-bike where new one costs only 1650$. with additional 250$ you will get 1 year warranty, suspension fork, better motor, better display, drivetrain, etc...
I think more than 1000$ seems too much.
If I were you , I would go with the new one as also new models has more accessory options and larger loading capacity on rear rack.

A simple rule of thumb... offer 50% of the original retail price for a used 2-year-old EBike.

I hear you and agree. I wasn't going to offer more than $1000 anyway but was more intrigued at seeing and sitting on one in person, just to test it out.
At worst, the seller would say no, and at best I get to see one in person.

Also don't trust the mileage on the display. It can be programmed. My advise is check the tires and brake rotors. They will give a better idea about how much he ride the bike. Also check if frame has paint damages or scratches
