Since we're still talking about noise levels - my SL2 motor is also much quieter than my version one motor.

Well, I for one miss that SL 1 motor noise!
Mine's been down for a week for want of an acceptable 38 mm gravel tire to replace my damaged rear Pathfinder. (Very few 38s made now, and all come with unwelcome trade-offs.)

Dropped off the bike today. The mechanic offered to swap the TCU while I waited. While waiting I talked to the store owner about my noise complaint - he suggested I try another SL2 on the floor. I did and it was a lot quieter. I played him a recording of my bike’s noise I made by attaching my phone to the bottle holder. He tried the new bike then said he would order a new motor for me.

Got the bike back yesterday with a new version 2 H3 TCU and motor. Shop said it's been keeping the date right for a week and a half. I'll check to be sure but that issue is likely fixed.
New motor is quieter but not silent like my old Turbo Como 3.0. Only rode the bike for 3 miles so not much of a test.
I've never ridden a SL1 generation bike so don't know how it compares to that sound. Lots of people say the 2s are quieter.

My big Vado 6.0 (Gen 1 Brose motor) is totally silent as it is solely driven by a carbon drive motor belt; it has been treated as a design flaw (the belt gets eventually broken). Your version of Como motor must have been very quiet but probably not 100% silent?
Regarding SL 1.1 motor found on the Vado SL 1.1: the opinions are mixed here and these depend on the sensitivity of the rider. For me, I start hearing the motor whine only in silent conditions when I go with a high cadence; otherwise I don't hear it. Once, I made a short vid demonstrating the SL 1.1 motor noise was nothing to hear on a normal ride in an open countryside area. However, a riding mate on a forest group ride remarked this year: "Anything's wrong with your bike?" as he actually could hear my e-bike motor noise

I don't think the motor noise is the issue. The SL2 is a little quieter than the SL1 was (have owned both) but not hugely. They both "moan" when at full revs & when they're disengaging there's a similarly loud noise.
Main thing is the thread was all about the SL2 Vado 6 turning itself on. Since my computer was changed it has only happened twice, but every time I switch the bike on the clock is incorrect. Has yours stopped doing this ?

I think my SL2 turned itself on once, but I had been fiddling with charge cables and the handlebars so I’m not sure. I haven’t been into the garage much this week due to unsafe temperatures and wild fire smoke but on my two brief visits the bike was off. I’ll have to check it later this morning.
Follow up (August 8): When I checked my bike two days ago prior to a longer ride after giving it a full charge, I found the bike powered on a charge level loss of about 30%. I recharged and all was fine yesterday when I went out for that ride. For a few minutes on that ride, the motor was noisier then it had been but, the noise was back to normal after an assist level adjustment
I will reach out to my LBS about this and see what happens.

Well, I haven’t noticed an auto turn on since I posted this a few weeks ago. Curious and curiouser.

I've just had most of the internal wiring changed by LBS. 3 days later the bike switched itself on again & time incorrect !! So as I've already had a new computer, the fault can only be with the the motor or battery or lights which seems very unlikely. Seems Spec need to get their finger out on this.

The lights connect through the Mastermind H3 and are not part of the CAN system. The on/off switch is also not part of the CAN system unless there is a fault in the light splitter connector that connects the lights and on/off switch into the system. It seems like they would have replaced that connector early on as it is easy and relatively cheap. Picture from Support Specialized site Turbo-Bikes-Theory-of-Operation. Connections in red are part of the CAN control system. The battery is part of the CAN system. Did they replace the light splitter?

Thanks for this. Short answer is I don't know. I will check with LBS but it might have been done when the H3 & the control switch were swapped out. But would this affect the time keeping of the H3 ??
