Turbo Vado shift sensor

Just got my Turbo Vado 4.0 and in the TCU there’s an option to pair it to a shift sensor. Any idea what kind of shift sensor I can pair it to?

I think it would work if you had an electronic shifter.

Right, but which one can I add to this bike? I don’t know any brands.

SRAM Eagle AXS comes to one's mind. Why don't you ask your LBS?

Yeah Specialized confirm the AXS derailleurs work. Too bad they aren’t cheap.

I cannot see the point in electronic shifting for most of people. What is the gain? One cable less? Need to recharge the derailleur battery? Weak thumb?

 

[rpaulo]

I’m not really that interested in electronic shifting, just that it would be kinda cool to see the gear I’m in. It’s not worth the cost, though.
