Hi I have searched this forum (and google) and have not been able to find a picture or determine if the out front quadlock for iPhone 17 pro will fit with the TCU in it's default location. I don't mind if it obstructs the TCU just as long as it can fit above it.

Thanks in advance and I'd be interested in seeing what others are using on their Turbo Vado's and/or what might be a better phone mount. I'd like to leave the TCU in its default location.

If your phone camera has mechanical auto-focus or image stabilization mechanisms, you might want to reconsider putting it on your bars. I ruined the telephoto focus on 3 high-end Samsungs before figuring out the cause. My phones now ride safely in my pockets.

BB: The QuadLock vibration damper is tuned ONLY for damaging motorcycle engine vibrations. They say themselves that it's not for bicycles.

Much discussion of this issue in the last year. Forum search on "vibration" should find a lot of it.

I have been using a Quadlock mount with the vibration dampener on my mtb's and emtb's for many years, mounted on the handle bars. I use the same exact setup on my dual sport motorcycles. Out of 5 bikes, I have only had the phone come off once in a crash and that was because the phone case itself came apart, not the mount.

I have a iPhone 17 and have at least 1,200 miles of emtb use, smashing though trails, with zero issues other than what I mentioned above. My iphone 14 was used this way for several years without issue.

I've had no issues with my phones (Samsung) on the bars over the years. That said, seems like a front suspension fork is a big helper here...
