Turbo Connect Display - Cadence?

Just picked up a new Como 4. Trying to figure out the following on TCD:

1. Is a cadence metric available? Can't find it on any of the screens. (Specialized website says it's an available metric)
2. What is the significance of the "Rider Power" metric? Is there an optimum power range?

1) The TCD is "programmable" in that you can select what metric is shown in the available slots on each screen. Cadence is definitely one that you can select from. See the owner's guide for details.

2) The rider power is simply how much power you are pedaling with which is a calculation of force on the pedal and rotation rate of the crank. It's not any more or less significant that any of the other metrics. As you increase the assist mode, you will see a decrease in rider power for a given speed since the bike is multiplying your input power.

Hmm. I've scrolled through all metric options for all available screen slots. No cadence option. I've sent the question to Specialized support and will report back.

Look at section 5 for customizing the screens. Data field 3 can be set to show cadence.

Cadence screen shows after a short press on F2 button, but will not show if the connection is loose. Ask me how I know that.
