How do you take the 2024 Turbo Como 4.0 IGS kickstand off to replace it with a decent kickstand? OEM Stand is way to long.... Black plastic cover seems to be covering access to the 2 bolts? Please confirm: Its a 40mm hole spacing, M6 screws x what length. TX!

I would have never thought the Specialized kickstand could not be decent. It is fully adjustable.

OEM Stand is way to long...
Look closely to the rear of the kickstand. There is a little bolt. Remove it, slide the bottom part of the kickstand to shorten the overall length, insert and tighten the bolt. Done.

Thanks... but want to remove and replace the OEM kickstand entirely with a entirely different kickstand that is adjustable and has wide foot pad on bottom... many units out there to choose from. I see the there 40mm spacing holes with screws but no way to access them ... black plastic cover is blocking them... does the black plastic cover just pop off somehow to access the M6 screws?

Specialized kickstand is adjustable, and I have never thought it should be replaced...

They should be the same as my Vado the bolts are behind the black plastic cover for the belt adjustment

How do you get that black plastic cover off without destroying it?
If you look closely there’s a small slot that you can get a small screw driver in, be careful not to break the tabs at the front side, the covers are made to stay on , so they are tight, if you have a manual it will show with pictures how to remove, or google “how to remove covers on specialized belt adjustment screws “ may be a video on it

I'm confused ... I'm trying to take the Kickstand off... the black plastic cover I'm talking about is on the left side ... not the belt adjustment side... I see there is one screw that is holding a silver bracket to the rear hub and the kickstand... is that the only screw that holds the bracket and kickstand stand onto the bike?

The belt is adjusted on both sides, the bolts that hold the kickstand is part of the belt tension mechanism, my personal opinion is I would adjust the length of the kickstand and move on, I’ve had mine for over 2 years without issues, even on sand

Found it in manual. Changing out Kickstand is easy....
