If you look closely there’s a small slot that you can get a small screw driver in, be careful not to break the tabs at the front side, the covers are made to stay on , so they are tight, if you have a manual it will show with pictures how to remove, or google “how to remove covers on specialized belt adjustment screws “ may be a video on itHow do you get that black plastic cover off without destroying it?
The belt is adjusted on both sides, the bolts that hold the kickstand is part of the belt tension mechanism, my personal opinion is I would adjust the length of the kickstand and move on, I’ve had mine for over 2 years without issues, even on sandI'm confused ... I'm trying to take the Kickstand off... the black plastic cover I'm talking about is on the left side ... not the belt adjustment side... I see there is one screw that is holding a silver bracket to the rear hub and the kickstand... is that the only screw that holds the bracket and kickstand stand onto the bike?
