Trunk rack recommendations for ebike

I’m looking for a reasonably priced bike rack that I can attach to my trunk for a sedan. Not interested in a hitch bike rack. I have an Espin Sport that weighs 55 pounds. The rack does not need to hold more than one bike.

The issue is that to my knowledge, no rack manufacturer sanctions their trunk mounted racks for use with e-bikes.

It would seem so. For example, this is what Hollywood Racks says in their FAQ:

Your Hollywood Racks weight limit per bike is 35 lb. on trunk racks, so is it okay to put two 50 lb. bikes on a three-bike rack (for example)?

No, the weight limits are strictly assigned on a per bike basis. The F4, for example can carry four 35 lb. bikes distributed evenly over its support arms but cannot safely carry one 80 lb. bike.

Dude do you have a hitch ?? I wouldn't even chance an ebike on a trunk mounted rack. You can go the cheap route like I did and spend $100 or less : But you'll regret it : At least I did . That was even before I got an electric

I recently purchased 2 ebikes from local shop. The owner sold me a new Allen rack. Have out both bike on it and it's seems to be working fine.

Can you tell me what model the Allen rack is and how much it cost? Also, how heavy are your bikes? My bike is 55lbs.
