After buying a FX+2 Stagger frame I discovered that there is no place to fit the rear arm of my Thule trunk mount rack into the frame. I looked into buying the Thule Frame adapter but am concerned that the locking collar will not fit the space between the handlebars and frame, where the wires for the controller also exit. I'd hate to have to now buy both a hitch and rear mounted rack for my Crosstrek which I might be replacing soon. Has anyone tried the Thule Frame or come up with another way to mount an FX+2 to a trunk mount?
