Just heard that Trek dealers in the EU wil have a new brand for some regions in their shop, Diamant. The Diamant factory is already producing the Trek branded E-bikes now for years and years and apparently the reduces sku's and thus costs all traditional bikes/e-bikes will be under the Diamant brand and no longer marketed under the Trek brand. So there will be less Trek branded E-bikes with fenders and racks. So Trek will be the sport brand and Diamant for the traditional bikes.
We did see that some models (Allant+ for example) were on both brands.
Interesting to see where this would lead to, for example, would the USA be supplied with Diamant Räder?
